The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, has said the Bola Tinubu-led administration remains committed to rural development.
Senator Shettima said this during his visit to Nasarawa State to commission the road project set up by the Nasarawa governor, Abdullahi Sule. Speaking while commissioning the project, the Vice President lauded the Nasarawa government for its commitment to nation-building, stating that the project shows Governor Sule's dedication to the people of Nasarawa State.
His words:
"Karu is a metropolis on the rise, and this road is a key step towards unlocking its full potential. It will improve access to markets, jobs, and essential services, ultimately boosting the lives of countless residents.
"This is a testament to Governor Sule's dedication to the people of Nasarawa. He understands that infrastructure is the backbone of development, and he's not afraid to roll up his sleeves and get things done.
"We will not rest until every Nigerian has access to the infrastructure they need to thrive."

the deputy governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanue Akabe; the immediate past national chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; Senator Ahmed Wadada representing Nasarawa West; a member of the House of Representatives representing Nasarawa-Toto federal constituency, Hon. Abdulmumin Mohammed Ari; and a member representing Awe-Keana-Doma federal constituency, Hon. Abubakar Hassana Laraba.
The governor, Abdullahi Sule, appreciated the vice president for honoring the invitation and emphasizing his resolution to serve the state.
