It is a new year and many Nigerian Christians all over the world are returning home to spend time with their family, loved ones, share fun memories and praise the Lord for the previous year.
The new year celebration, which is becoming a tradition in the Nigerian society (even among the elite) is commonly called crossover night/service and usually celebrated in a local church to appreciate God for his deeds in the previous year.
This year's crossover celebration was graced by the presence of famous Nigerian number 9 and Napoli forward, Victor Osimhen who attended a Redeemed Christian Church Of God service in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Nigerian forward who recently celebrated his 25th birthday has had an impressive run in his career the previous year, winning the prestigious CAF African Footballer of the Year together with the AIC award, the Italian Footballers' Association Player of the Year with his club side Napoli.
Osimhen, who rocked a black polo complimented with yellow joggers was heavily welcomed by the members of the church with joy and happiness.
